School

As many of you already know, I have entered the world of education. Due to the bleak situation found in the public schools in Franklin, (specifically the Middle school where Adelynn would have attended this year) Will and I decided that it was time to send the children to the local private school Southampton Adademy. (You can check out the school's website www.southamptonacademy.org ) Of course a private school education is not free. So to allay the rather large cost of tuition, I am now teaching sophomore compostion, three sections. I will be focusing heavily on grammar and vocabulary first semester, then second semester I will have the students apply what they have learned. You can see from the "punctuation exercise" above just how IMPORTANT what I am teaching is.

Birthdays

Happy Birthday Winslow! Now you can go to pre-school. Yipee. Win was SUPER excited for his birthday so he could "blow out the fire and sing happy birthday to me and go to school and wear my backpack!" My favorite is how he eats his cake. Notice Thomas the Train. Win is VERY into trains right now.






Nothing like celebrating your FIRST birthday. Greyson wasn't so sure about the birthday cake thing. See how he is gingerly touching it. It took him a while to get warmed up to the idea of digging in, but he got there in the end!

Sleeping

ok, so we Councills specialize in sleeping in the most bizarre places and positions. I thought ya'll would enjoy seeing the best sleeping pictures we have to offer.

Summer Time !!!!

I have finally down-loaded all my summer beach pix. We got some "gooders." The week was great except for my nasty, awful, painful, RED sunburn. (how old am I, shouldn't I know better? Hello!!!)

Although this pictures is 9 months old, it is the most recent picture of all of us together. Can you believe this was taken Dec. 23rd! Virginia has great winter weather. "Winter" doesn't arrive until nearly February. New Years Day 2007 I was outside in a T-shirt planting pansies.

FamilyCouncill

Inspired by my sister Mary, I decided to create a blog spot for our Councill Clan. I thought FamilyCouncill was a clever name, (not that I can boast of much cleverness) but "what the heck" as they say in Utah.

We are all doing great, just started school, and getting back into the swing of schedules, homework and things.

The boys birthdays are approaching and I am debating a joint party......have to wait and see.
