Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to the best husband, father EVER. We had a great day with all the Councills at the beach house celebrating Jay's 1/2 way mark in Iraq, father's day, and birthdays of two grandchildren. As you can see below, taking pictures was a top priority and I think a got a few good ones.

Las Vegas

Will and I got to stay in Vegas for four nights at the Ritz Carlton at Lake Las Vegas. This was a trip Will won from Mass Mutual. We had the best time and I will say one thing about "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" --I hope all the incredible food that I ate TONS of stays in Vegas!

I loved the fountain in the courtyard of the Ritz. It felt very European.

I wish I could get our gardens to look like this.

Our room was in the center of the bridge. We had an amazing view of the whole Lake Las Vegas.

Not everything that happens in Vegas needs to stay in Vegas. We had a wonderful trip to the Las Vegas Temple and plan to keep the memories with us always.

Prom Fun

Fun at Southampton Academy Prom! Will and I attended the highschool prom as chaperones. I think we had more fun that the kids.

Snow Day March 2, 2009

In Virginia if it snows a few inches SCHOOL IS CANCELLED. So on March 2, 2009 the kids got a special treat: No school and a day to play in the snow. This was Greyson's first time seeing snow. The kids had a great time and Adelynn's snow girl was the cutest ever!
